Paint Class & Club Supplies

 

WELCOME TO SUZY'S ACRYLIC PAINTING CLASS!!!

FOR PAINT CLASS ~ (see below for Paint Club)

There will be some required supplies; which I will provide and have a flat rate 'materials fee' for the duration of the class. 

BUT ALSO ~ I will have supplies/kits on hand for purchase at cost if you are wanting to take stuff home with you. 

  • Materials Fee for Full Session: $20
  • Materials Fee for Day 1: $5 (for those who plan to purchase paint set from me)
  • Paint Set of 8 tubes: $31.22
  • New 16x20 stretched canvas: $2.84
  • Assorted size and shape brushes: $0.32 each

If you want to order on your own, anticipate your total supply cost to be about $80. That is paint, brushes/tools, and canvas.  Anticipate other nominal costs for a tote, palette, and anything else you might want for your painting experience. I will also have easels to borrow or buy; and aprons to borrow.

You are welcome to order yourself; however, when I buy I utilize bulk pricing, orders eligible for free shipping as well as coupons offered at the time of purchase; all this brings the price down to a significant lower price than what is posted here.

Brushes can be purchased locally at either craft stores and also 5Below has a pretty good set last time I was there. But, check the supply list to see what all you want to get if you plan to go shopping before class starts.

Supply List:

  • 8 tubes of paint ~ Black, White, set of cool and set or warm primary colors (see below).
  • Nylon Brushes ~ An assortment of: Flat, Round, Filbert, liner/detail - and anything else you want
  • Set of Palette knives
  • Canvas ~ Stretched canvas is best; get something that is at least 12x16 inches. Most people have been using 16x20 sized stretched canvas.
  • Palette* anything can be a palette. I will go over that on day one. 
  • Tote* something to put it all in.
  • Extra cool stuff depending on your need... to be discussed on Day 1.

I will have some recycled 16x20 canvases for free; those can be fun as they have interesting textures from what ever was painted on them before.
I will also have paint brushes and pallet knives that you can borrow or purchase.

Come with what ever supplies you have. If I have a paint color you need; you can donate a little something for it. Other materials too.

If you come with nothing and I provide everything
MATERIALS FEE: $5 (per class)

I will have all the brushes/tools needed for you to use in class. I will have an assortment of canvases available for purchase or you can take a recycled one for free. I will have brushes and other items for purchase as well.
